Our mission for Android Avenue 2023 was to take the world’s most popular operating system and demonstrate how Google’s innovation on Android makes everyday life safer, more personal and virtually effortless, no matter which device you use.

Solution

Our 216m-long stand allowed visitors to explore and learn about the ecosystem of Android products in a playful, engaging setting. Sustainability was a key theme in 2023, and our highly informative Sustainability Garden proved very popular. Visitors explored the Super Res Zoom and Macro Focus in the Photographer’s Garden; used their phone as a TV remote through Tap to Watch TV; and set up Fast Pairing or Nearby Sharing on their devices. Much of the delight was found in the details: the bothead mobile in the nursery; the music lyrics on the spinning seats; the big screen animated bugdroids; the information desk bothead sign; the smoothie bar bugdroid made out of fruit, and playful messaging on the roof, seating and tables.

Despite the terrible weather, more visitors came to Android Avenue than in 2022, and the time spent in product demos also increased. Not only did we make the ‘tech’ accessible, we made it aspirational and enriching.
