Sales Conference - Zorba World Record
Each year we organise Google’s annual sales conference which brings together the sales team from across EMEA for two days in a European city. In 2008 the event was held in Rhodes and as part of this they attempted to break the world record for the most people doing the Zorba dance at the same time. This included sourcing professional Zorba dancers, training at the Google offices in advance of the event, and management of the logistics on the day. Once on-site the record was broken with 1673 people officially counted as participating in the Zorba dance, each rewarded with a medal.
